Paidi O Brien 19 year old cyclist from Banteer is now cycling with
leading French club V.C La Pomme in Marseilles in the south
of France. He has settled in very well to his new career with some solid
placings in races. An eight place in Grand Prix la Ville D'Antiles
was his best place in February. A shoulder injury sustained in a race
early in March was a bit of a set back and kept him off the bike for 2
weeks. However Paidi got back yesterday(30-March) and had a solid
race in the very hilly Grand Prix la Coitat saw him finish in eight
place. This race was a round of the National Espoir Series in
France. " I am just happy to be back at full training and racing again"
said Paidi " the result was a great boost to my confidence"
