Banteer Ladies Football making a winning start. 

This season has started very brightly for the U12 Banteer Ladies Football team.  They played their first game in Rathcoole  some weeks ago against the local Dromtariffe girls and emerged victorious in a one sided contest.  On May 20^th, they had another away game, with Mitchelstown providing the opposition.  Played on a bright, breezy, sunny evening this turned out to be also a very one-sided affair.  Banteer took the reins from the throw-in and, despite some positive play from the opposition, Banteer were well in control throughout and ran out easy winners.  The competition will continue over the coming weeks with away games against Kildorrery and Glanworth and we wish the girls and their coach, Jerry Twohig, continued success.  Training in the pitch on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 7pm
