Dromagh School is very proud that it celebrates
it's centenary this year, as it was built in 1901.
In order to commemorate this, the school will hold an Open
Day, commencing at 2:00p.m., on Sunday, 17th June,
2001. This will be a wonderful opportunity for past pupils to
re-visit the school and to meet classmates and friends.
A new extension and up grading of the schol will start shortly and
the plans will be available for viewing on the open day. Therefore, this
may be your last opportunity to see the school, as it was when you
attended it.
As part of the celebration, there will be a display of old photos,
books and other items connected with the school. If you possess any
items of interest, the organising commitee would be very grateful for a
loan of these, all of which will be returned safely. They may be given
to Gerard Tancred, Ducleigh, Derval Corbett, Dysert, or to the
teachers.
We would also be very grateful if you would inform family members and
friends of the open day. Having as many past pupils as possible present
on the day will help make it more enjoyable for everyone. Therefore, we
would very much appreciate your help in informing family members.
